With Toronto's bounty of theatre, attractions, museums, art galleries, theme parks, markets and even its very own islands, there's plenty to see and do both before and after the ASE Scientific Sessions. Make plans now to arrive on Friday, June 6 and stay through Thursday, June 12 to take full advantage of this amazing city!
Hotel Reservations
Attendees must register for ASE’s 2008 Scientific Sessions prior to booking their hotel reservation. Registrants will receive housing instructions and a link to the online ASE Housing Bureau in their confirmations. Registrants are limited to a maximum of two rooms under the ASE room block.
The ASE Housing Bureau is now open! ASE recommends that you register and book hotelaccommodations early to get your preferred hotel choice. The deadline to reserve hotel accommodations at the ASE rates is Friday, May 2, 2008.

Room Rates/Taxes
Due to the prevalence of attrition clauses which require that a group occupy at least 90 percent of the rooms it blocks or pay the difference, ASE is forced to reserve a smaller number of sleeping rooms than the expected number of meeting participants. Rooms will be available at the discounted ASE rates on a space-available, rate-available basis beginning on November 9, 2007 for ASE and CSE members and December 3, 2007 for non-members. Once the block is full, the hotels are not contractually obligated to provide rooms at the ASE discounted rates. To take advantage of the discounted rates, ASE recommends that you make your reservations as soon as possible. All rates are per room per night and are subject to current tax rates (5% PST, 6% GST, 3% DMF) (subject to change). Some hotels may charge additional fees for rooms with more than two occupants.
Hotel Changes and Cancellations
The housing cancellation deadline is Friday, May 2, 2008. The ASE Housing Bureau will assist registrants with making, modifying and/or canceling hotel reservations (based on availability) through Wednesday, May 7, 2008. After this date, registrants should contact their hotel directly regarding changes to their reservation.
All reservations secured by a check deposit will be assessed a $25 CDN processing fee if cancelled at any time. All cancellations made after the May 2, 2008 cancellation deadline, regardless of method of deposit, will result in forfeiture of the entire $245 CDN deposit.
