International Information - Passports/Visa Requirements

Don't forget your passport!
American visitors crossing the border will require a valid passport to re-enter the U.S. Visit travel.state.gov to apply for or renew your passport. Visitors from other countries can visit the Canadian Government web site or contact their country's embassy for passport requirements.

Visa Information/Letter
American visitors do not need a visa to enter Canada. Visitors from other countries can visit the Canadian Government web site for more information or contact the Canadian embassy, high commission or consulate responsible for their region.

ASE recommends that you begin your visa application process as soon as possible. Consulates in some countries take several months to process applications.

ASE offers an Official Letter of Invitation for international registrants. You can download and submit this letter with your visa application to verify the name, dates, location and purpose of ASE's 2008 Scientific Sessions.
