A live broadcast of significant portions of the originally planned Scientific Sessions content will take place on August 8-10, 2020. The format will be different, but the educational and scientific content will be just as exciting as if we were all together in person.
The three-day live broadcast will include many of the popular sessions from past conferences such as the ASE Presidential Address, State of ASE, the 31st Edler Lecture, Arthur E. Weyman Young Investigator’s Award Competition, 21st Annual Feigenbaum Lecture, Brian Haluska Sonographer Research Award Competition, Educator Summit, and the Value of Echo Summit. New sessions for the ASE 2020 Virtual Experience include Artificial Intelligence and What It Means to You, three Episodes of Care sessions covering coronary disease, mitral valve disease, and cardiomyopathy mechanical circulatory support transplant, and Echo and COVID. There will be something from all eleven original session tracks offered during the live broadcast.
We know that personal interaction with faculty is one of the most important parts of our in-person Scientific Sessions and we are incorporating technological facets to allow the audience to virtually interact with live chat rooms during the three-day broadcast, some live question and answer sessions, polling, and more! We are also working on exciting details to the program such as networking with exhibitors in a virtual exhibit hall and showcasing new research in the field with abstract poster presentations.
