How do I access the content for the ASE 2021 Scientific Sessions Virtual Experience?

Log in details to access the ASE 2021 Scientific Sessions Virtual Experience are sent via email. This email is delivered from ‘EventNotice@XpressReg.Net’ with the subject line of ‘ASE 2021 Scientific Sessions Virtual Experience Login Credentials”. We recommend adding this email address to your ‘Safe Sender List’ to avoid this message from going to your junk/spam folders.

How do I access content if I just registered?

If you have registered on or after June 17, there will be a slight delay in receiving your login information while your registration syncs with the online platform. ASE staff will be monitoring incoming registrations Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM Eastern Time. If you have registered outside of these hours, an ASE staff person will process your registration as soon as the designated hours begin.

How many CME credits are available?

ASE is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education to provide continuing medical education for physicians. ASE designates this activity for a maximum of 58 AMA PRA Category 1 Credit™ for all attendees (except non-CME registrants). You can also earn up to 58 MOC points. There is no CME awarded for the poster sessions at this time.

How can I claim CME credits?

To claim your CME, please click here.

You will only be able to claim CME one time. Since content you missed is on-demand, please wait to begin the CME process until you have viewed all presentations you are interested in seeing. You will not have to list all the sessions you viewed, just the total number of credits earned.

If you attended a Science & Technology Theater, that CME is offered through the sponsor. To claim that CME you will need to go to that session in the virtual platform and click on “Details” for instructions on how to claim CME. Science & Technology Theater CME is NOT included in the 58 CMEs ASE is offering.

What is the deadline to claim CME credits?

The deadline to claim CME credits is September 30, 2021.

Do I have to watch the live broadcast on June 18-21, 2021 to earn and claim CME credits?

If you cannot participate in the live broadcast, you can still earn CME by watching the sessions on-demand. All session content is available on-demand until September 15, 2021.

What are the system requirements to access ASE 2021 Scientific Sessions Virtual Experience?

All you will need is your computer and a stable and reliable internet connection. This is essentially no different to watching a video on YouTube. If you can watch YouTube, then you will be able to stream on the website with no problems.

Are there other steps I can take to make sure the online platform will work on my device?

Take a look at ASE’s Know Before You Go document, which will provide other helpful tips to ensure the online platform will work on all your devices. There is important information in this document to make sure your corporate IT settings are not blocking the platform from launching.

I am having trouble loading the online platform page. What should I do?

If you are having trouble loading the platform page, it could be related to your firewall security settings. Please disconnect from your VPN, or try opening the browser in “incognito” mode.

How long will I have access to the content provided in the live broadcast taking place June 18-21, 2021?

You will have unlimited access to this content on-demand until September 15, 2021 (90 days) following the broadcast. If you cannot participate in the live broadcast on June 18-21, you will still have the opportunity to watch all of the pre-recorded sessions & live question and answer sessions. All of the live question and answer sessions will be recorded, and available on-demand following the broadcast dates.

Is Closed Captioning available for the presentations?

English and Spanish captions are available for all session presentations. Simply click the “globe” icon to switch between languages. In the session video player, you will have the option to turn these captions on or off (click the “CC” button). This will remain available with the on-demand content through September 15, 2021.

What is the ASE 2021 Scientific Sessions Virtual Experience Course Cancellation Policy?

Registration cancellation requests MUST be submitted in writing to ASEVirtual@ASEcho.org. Any requests for cancellations received on or after May 21, 2021, will be refunded minus a $75 administrative fee. Registration fees for any ASE course is non-transferable to another participant or another course. All refunds will be processed within 5-7 business days and will be issued back to the original payment method (if your payment is older than 120 days, a check will be issued back to you). *Membership dues are non-refundable or transferable if you cancel your ASE 2021 Scientific Sessions Virtual Experience registration

What is the deadline to register?

Registration will close completely at 11:59 PM ET on August 31, 2021. This will give participants enough time to access all the content and claim CME credits before the content expires on the virtual platform. All session content is available on-demand until September 15, 2021.

@LilyLeiZhang1 @echo_stepbystep @ASE360 @NadeenFaza Nice demonstration of splay artifact for aortic regurgitation! Commonly seen (and initially reported) in mitral regurgitation but the same concept applies here. And perhaps a ousting shadowing from the valve stent obscures the main jet.👏
