CME Credit Details
Successful completion of this CME activity enables the participant to earn up to 44 MOC points in the American Board of Internal Medicine’s (ABIM) Maintenance of Certification (MOC) program. Participants will earn MOC points equivalent to the amount of CME credits claimed for the activity. It is the ASE’s responsibility to submit participant completion information to ACCME for the purpose of granting ABIM MOC credit.
Successful completion of this CME activity, which includes participation in the activity, with individual assessments of the participant and feedback to the participant, enables the participant to earn up to 10 MOC points in the American Board of Pediatrics’ (ABP) Maintenance of Certification (MOC) program. It is ASE’s responsibility to submit participant completion information to ACCME for the purpose of granting ABP MOC credit.
The National Board of Echocardiography™ (NBE) requires 15 hours of echocardiography specific CME for both ReASCE® and RePTE® recertification. This activity contains 44 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™ that can be used toward recertification requirements.
ARDMS and CCI recognize ASE’s certificates and have agreed to honor the credit hours toward their registry requirements for sonographers.
*Please note: ASE will automatically transfer credits to ABIM, ARDMS, ABA, ABP, and CCI in December, 2020. For credits needed for state boards, these will need to be transferred on your own once the CME evaluation has been completed.
