ASE HAPPY HOUR AND COUNCIL NETWORKING
5:00 PM – 6:00 PM
A welcome message, toast to healthcare workers, and an exciting karaoke contest hosted by Immediate Past President, Madhav Swaminathan, MD, FASE, President, Judy Hung, MD, FASE, and Scientific Sessions Program Chairs, Theodore Abraham, MD, FASE, and Sue Phillip, RCS, FASE will kick off this networking event.
The second half of the event will be Council Networking sessions where you can visit different “rooms” to learn more about the ASE Councils and hear from the Council steering committee representatives. Each of our four Councils, Pediatric and Congenital Heart Disease, Cardiac Sonography, Circulation and Vascular Ultrasound and Perioperative Echo, will have a separate room. You do not need to be a member of the Council to join in, in fact this is a great way to learn about their activities. Attendees have an opportunity to ask questions through the chat function too,

Athena Poppas, MD, FASE, ACC’s president, who is a leading echocardiographer and long-time ASE member, will give a short presentation titled “Woman in Cardiology: Navigating Your Career” and then she will also participate in a lively panel discussion with Peg Knoll, RDCS, RCS, FASE; Sharon Mulvagh, MD, FASE; Alina Nicoara, MD, FASE; and Ritu Thamman, MD, FASE.
