10:00 AM – 10:50 AM
LV, RV, and LA Strain-Imaging Fundamentals. This DIY session will provide hands-on learning experiences for all registered to learn how to acquire LV, RV, and LA strain data sets. During the session, participants will have the opportunity to perform hands-on scanning. - 3D DIY Workshop
1:00 PM – 1:50 PM
2:00 PM – 2:50 PM
This session will provide attendees an opportunity to learn how to acquire three-dimensional volumes of the left ventricle and calculate an ejection fraction with an expert. The workshop will also review how to assess the quality of the tree-dimensional volume. During the session, participants will have the opportunity to perform hands-on scanning or observe the data acquisition. Attendees will have the opportunity to interact with different vendors for data acquisition to acquire three-dimensional left ventricular volumes and use software to calculate an ejection fraction. - Pediatric CHD DIY Workshop
4:00 PM – 4:50 PM
This DIY hands-on scanning session is dedicated to pediatric patients with congenital heart disease. It will provide the opportunity for participants to scan pediatric patients with congenital heart disease. Expert sonographers and physicians will provide assistance and education to participants and observers and will discuss the type of congenital heart disease present in the model and how the ultrasound protocol needs to be tailored to answer the clinical question.
