CME Information

ASE designates this live activity for a maximum of 19.5 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™. In-person registrants may claim CME credits for attending sessions in-person.

Virtual registration includes up to 17.5 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™. Virtual attendees may claim CME credits for watching either the live-streamed or recorded sessions.

Accreditation and Designation

ASE is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education to provide continuing medical education for physicians. In addition to offering CME credits, this activity has been developed and registered with ACCME to provide MOC, MOC Part 2, and MOCA 2.0 credits in alignment with AMA PRA Category 1 Credit™. Registering for this course will help you achieve all the CME you need to meet IAC CME requirements for echo lab physicians and sonographers.

ARDMS, CCI, and Sonography Canada recognize ASE’s certificates and have agreed to honor CME credit hours toward their registry requirements for sonographers.

This program has been RACE approved for 4 hours of continuing education credit in jurisdictions that recognize RACE approval.

  1. The 4 hours of AAVSB RACE CE is only available to in person attendees. Virtual attendees will not be able to claim AAVSB RACE CE credit.
  2. All 5 of the in person veterinary sessions listed below must be attended for the learner to claim the 4 hours of AAVSB RACE CE credit. Learners are not allowed to claim partial credit for attending one or more sessions.
