A Sound Guide: The Critical Role of Echo in the Aortic Stenosis Patient Journey
Location: Davidson A, Music City Center
Presented by Edwards
Severe aortic stenosis (AS) is underdiagnosed, undertreated, and too often identified only at crisis. This CME-certified satellite symposium equips cardiovascular professionals with an expert-guided, case-based exploration of the pivotal role echocardiography plays across the AS continuum—from early recognition and timely referral to appropriate treatment selection and post-procedure follow-up. With a sharp focus on echo’s power to guide life-saving decisions, the session brings together leading voices in cardiology, imaging, and structural interventions to spotlight real-world challenges and opportunities for practice change. Attendees will gain practical tools to enhance diagnostic precision, reduce delays in care, and optimize outcomes in patients with AS.
6:00 – 8:30 PM
Advanced Imaging for TriClip G5 TEER System
Location: Davidson B, Music City Center
Presented by Abbott
Join Abbott Friday evening for a dinner symposium on advanced imaging for TriClip Therapy, with a focus on ICE and MPR. This session includes a didactic with expert faculty, as well as hands-on training with ICE simulators to learn how to properly assess and treat tricuspid regurgitation.
6:00 – 8:30 PM
The Echo Quest: Conquering Real-World Hypertophic Cardiomyopathy From Diagnosis to Treatment
Location: Davidson C, Music City Center
Presented by Answers in CME
In this interactive, gamified live event, a cardiologist and a cardiac sonographer will engage in a case-based discussion on the role of echocardiography for accurate diagnosis and treatment of patients with obstructive hypertrophic cardiomyopathy (oHCM). Faculty will guide the audience through multiple patient cases, highlighting how to identify key features of oHCM using echocardiography, when additional imaging modalities are warranted, and how echocardiogram findings may inform treatment decisions. This program will also provide practical, case-based guidance on when to initiate cardiac myosin inhibitors in patients with oHCM, emphasizing patient eligibility criteria as well as considerations for serial echocardiography in long-term treatment monitoring. In integrated Q&A sessions, faculty will address audience questions related to real-world diagnostic nuances and treatment decisions.
